Rotaract and Rotary District 1260 B-B-Q

Some photos and a report on the BBQ at Buckingham Rotaract Club.

On Sunday 21st August 2005, Buckingham Rotaract held a Barbecue and invited all 4 Rotaract Clubs in District 1260 along with other Rotary Clubs.

Hitchin Rotaract sent three members along and two members of Brickhill Rotary Club.

There was ample burgers and salad, and the deserts were delicious.

After eating all that food there were several games to play - boules, get the horseshoe over the post and of course croquet.

Hitchin Rotaract were challenged by Brickhill Rotaract to a game of croquet.  Denise and Gemma from Hitchin Rotaract and Morgan and Peter from Brickhill Rotary.

They were given instructions by a Buckingham Rotaractor.  This was great fun, watching them trying to be the first one through the hoop.

Morgan was losing all the way, the others were halfway round when Morgan finally managed to get his ball through the first hoop.

I am not sure how, but Morgan somehow, managed to win the croquet.

Maybe at sometime in the future there will be a rematch between the two clubs.

Casablanca, but for now France rules this corner of North-west Africa".

Suggested dress 1940's or formal.    Food will be served.

We didn't find out who murder was until the end.     We were each given a booklet with are characters in.    We could only turn the page over when the host said so.       It was a very fun evening and enjoyed by every one,
